Clyde Holmes
| The
artist Clyde Holmes is represented in a number of important museum
collections, these include The National Museum of Modern Art, Wales;
The National Museum of Wales; Art Gallery & Museum, Newport. He
was recently featured in a television documentary 'Visions of Snowdonia,'
which was narrated by Sir Anthony Hopkins.
Clyde's work will be included in the forthcoming 'Christmas Show' at the Fine Art Society, London. His paintings were also included in the exhibition 'Artist's in National Parks', which was held in 1990 at the Victoria & Albert Museum. 'Other landscapes lie naked to the eye; what you see of the landscapes here is like a garment on a torso that is constantly moving; in fact it is the light that moves, but the effect is like a green shirt worn by a swordsman duelling with an invisible figure in the sky...'
