Studied at Grays School of Art/Robert Gordon University Aberdeen, 1st Class Honours, Fine Art Post Graduate Diploma Fine Art Part Time lecturer 1998-2000.

Painting Awards: Cornwall/Steele Painting award 1990 and 1991. Morrison Scottish Portrait Award 1991 runner up 1999 1st Prizewinner.

Public Collections:

National portrait Gallery, Scottish National Portrait Gallery, Aberdeen Art Gallery, Reading Museum, Singer and Friedlander London.

Statement:

My work is a union of fact and fiction; I aim to observe and record what is there while allowing my imagination some freedom. In my still lifes I attempt to explore the foibles of human life and relationships through the objects.
