Roy
was recently elected as a member of the Pastel Society of the U.K.
Last year he won the Willie Hoffman-Guth award for a drawing of the
British Museum and in 1999 he was awarded the Cross Gate Gallery,
Kentucky USA prize, both at the Pastel Society.
He was also
a prizewinner at the "Arcadia in the City" project show
(2002) where his entry was voted most popular work in the exhibition.
In 2001 he was
a Royal Academy prizewinner at the R.A. Summer Show with a charcoal
drawing of the Sagrada Familia, Barcelona.
Roy
has taken part in many group shows, including the Cheltenham Open
Drawing, Singer & Friedlander/Sunday Times Watercolour Competition,
Watercolour C21, Pastel Society, RBA, RSMA, SWLA, Laing Landscape
Competition, 20th Century British Summer Exhibition. He has also
had solo shows at the Henry Boxer Gallery.
