| The
Los Angeles artist X-8 began creating abstract paintings in 1981.
However in 1993 an important change came about, with the creation
of exorcistic works, utilizing macabre and internal imagery. His work
is cathartic, giving him an opportunity to 'purge, construct and cleanse.'
It is therapeutic. He
is currently painting large scale works based on decay, mythology,
insanity and isolation, using a wide array traditional and non-traditional
mediums and techniques. |
